Ah! Nothing like a recharge and an abundant amount of inspiration, like the beautifully designed Getty Museum. Recently, I’ve faced some tiny health hiccups that were slowing me down and left me feeling overwhelmed. Thankfully, I’m almost 100% and feeling more like my positive self.
This simple, yet oh so stunning dress helped me feel more like myself this weekend. I bought this dress from Wasteland a few months back with my friend. She saw that it was from Reformation and that it was my size and said I had to try it on. So I did and the fit was perfect. Then I love finding out that it is made up of viscose yarn, making it biodegradable. Talk about sexy, right!
For this look, I wanted to keep it simple, so I decided to ditch eye make and rock some red lipstick, red nails, and red toenail polish.
I also added gold details, like my vintage Channel necklace and gold barded sandals. They were the perfect addition for a minute pop.
One thing I love about this dress is its back and its versatility. I could wear it to a wedding, make it a cute lunch/dinner outfit or throw a sweater over it for the fall, then wear it to work.
On this day, The Getty Museum was the perfect outing for this outfit. The weather was a lovely 77 degrees and I couldn't be more comfortable walking around in my sandals and flowy dress.
