Halloween was always my favorite holiday growing up. Being able to dress up and be whoever and whatever I wanted to be, was freedom to my soul. As I grew up I noticed how the pumpkin carving holiday didn't excite me the way it used to. When I took a moment to reflect, the explanation was simple really… I was charmed.

Since acting did, does, and will forever have a piece of my heart, I took it upon myself to be whoever and whatever I wanted to be everyday. Staring at the age of seven, I ran with my imagination and wore outfits that would fit my vibe and/or fit the version of myself I wanted to be that day. As a result I have the magic that Halloween gives the soul everyday.

Behind every good witch is the inspiration to create, otherwise known as her imagination. Just looking at this long sleeved, sheer ribbed-knit crew breathes an extra dose into me. Wearing just a bra underneath, it adds a hint of sexiness without too much milkshake.

In honor of my “use what you have" motto, I used my sequence makeup bag as my clutch. The sequence gives the outfit the touch of the glam it needed. Plus, it plays well with my floral top.

Oh these pants! I love these 1920 English inspired trousers. I bought them in 2010, when I was exploring London. The wide hip, mild drop crotch, pleats and tapered ankle, were the ingredients of a love spell… so, I found them fitting for a witch inspired outfit.

A special thank you to my friend and fellow eco blogger, Michelle Chavez for telling me about Purpose Jewelry, which is where I bought my Everyday Hoops and Unity Knuckle Rings. This is a special company where each person handcrafting the jewelry is a survivor of modern-day slavery. Purchases go to employing, educating and treating these beautiful survivors. By adding these accessories to my outfit, I reveal the source powers to you: love.

Happy Halloween! I hope you enjoyed my treat to you ; )
