Winter Wonder

Winter Wonder

Tis the most wonderful time of the year? Ugh… is it really?! I’ve had some difficulty getting into to the holiday spirit lately due to the sad current events taking place. Thankfully I came to the realization of; "If I want some holiday cheer, then I’ll need to be the one to give it."  Haha! It sounds like I want to save Christmas… Humm. I guess I do.

Considering I’m choosing to take some necessary steps to save a Holiday, I felt that it was fitting to wear something festive with a superhero twist. Can you guess which DC superhero inspired me?

It's supposed to be winter in LA, but it’s still not cold enough for a jacket. However, as the sun goes down, it does get a bit chilly. So, I chose to keep warm in this turtleneck made up of 88% tencel and 12% spandex.

Superheroes tend to wear some pretty epic belts, so I couldn’t choose just any old hip ornament. Instead, I accessorized with this old gold, bold baby. I love it because it has always reminded me of the hero I strive to be.

This red skirt wasn't just a festive addition to this look. Its peplum feature reminded me of the miniskirt that a particular superhero wears when she fights.

Although I don't plan on fighting anyone in this look ever, I do hope to save as many faces from frowns this holiday season.
